Indianapolis-based Celadon Group Inc. (NYSE: CGI) is growing its onsite health clinic. RepuCare will manage the clinic, which will offer expanded health care services to employees and their families. August 21, 2014

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- National trucking firm, Celadon, has expanded the scope of its onsite health and wellness clinic with the selection of RepuCare to manage the facility. The clinic provides primary care for the company’s drivers and administrative employees as well as their spouses and dependents.

The healthcare team at RepuCare includes practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, a registered dietician/wellness coach, and a physical therapist. Comprehensive wellness and coaching programs will be offered to engage employees and to address unhealthy lifestyle behaviors before they escalate to costly chronic conditions. Occupational health services will also be offered to diagnose and treat worksite injuries and illnesses, support DOT driver testing requirements, and provide physical therapy and injury prevention programs.

The clinic will work with individuals in a non-rushed atmosphere to raise awareness for health risks and prevention needs, help with condition management or wellness goals, and other important needs such as annual check-ups and prescription drug management. Additional clinic services will include a limited list of generic maintenance medications and antibiotics as well as laboratory services.

With the continual rise in medical and workers compensation costs, Celadon sought a robust onsite clinic program to mitigate these costs and help their employees and families to become more aware of their lifestyle choices and to get healthier.
