The Indiana Pacers will open the 2014-2015 National Basketball Association season October 29 at home against Philadelphia. Indianapolis, Ind. — The two-time defending Central Division Champion and Eastern Conference Finalist Indiana Pacers will open the 2014-15 National Basketball Association season by hosting their first two games in Bankers Life Fieldhouse. Philadelphia will visit opening night, Wednesday, Oct. 29, and Memphis, Friday, Oct. 31, with both games tipping off at 7:00 p.m. The Pacers' first road game will be at Atlanta, Sat., Nov. 1.

The home schedule is highlighted by two games against division rival Cleveland, both in February, the 6th and the 27th; another division rival Chicago (Dec. 29 and Mar. 6); Miami, the Pacers' Eastern Conference Finals opponent the last two years, New Year's Eve, Dec. 31, and Apr. 5; and the defending world champion San Antonio Spurs, Feb. 9. Other top Western Conference visits include: the Los Angeles Clippers (Dec. 10); Portland (Dec. 13); the Los Angeles Lakers (Dec. 15); Golden State (Feb. 22); Houston (Mar. 23) and Oklahoma City (Apr. 12).

All games in Bankers Life Fieldhouse will begin at 7:00 p.m., except for the traditional night after Thanksgiving game against Orlando, Fri., Nov. 28. (8:00 p.m.); the New Year's Eve game with the Heat (3:00 p.m.); Jan. 29 against New York (8:00 p.m.); four Sunday games, Feb. 22, vs Golden State, Mar., 1 vs. Philadelphia, Apr. 5 vs. Miami and vs. Oklahoma City, Apr. 12 (all at 6:00 p.m.); and the final regular season home game against Washington, Apr. 14 (8:00 p.m.).

The Pacers will appear on national television eight times this season. They are scheduled for two TNT games, Jan. 29, at home against New York and at home against the Wizards on Apr. 14. The Pacers will be on ESPN Nov. 5, when they visit Washington, Nov. 12 at Miami, and Mar. 18 at Chicago. NBATV will also carry three games, Nov. 14 when Denver visits, Dec. 5 at Sacramento and Jan. 4, at the Los Angeles Lakers.

All games will be on radio at 1070 The Fan (1070-AM, 107.5 FM). The FOX Sports Indiana television schedule will be announced at a later date.
