INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Hammond, Kennedy, Whitney & Company, Inc. (“HKW”) made a number of organizational announcements today:
Ted Kramer will assume the position of HKW President. Ted joined HKW in 2001, has led the sourcing activities of the firm since 2002 and has served on the HKW Board since 2007. He will also become a member of the firm’s investment committee. Ted will continue with his responsibilities leading the deal generation function of the firm.
Luke Phenicie will assume the Lead Transaction Partner position of the firm. Luke joined HKW in 2004, became a Partner in 2009, and has served on the investment committee since 2009.
Mike Foisy will assume the Lead Operating Partner position of the firm. Mike joined HKW in 2007, became a Partner in 2011, and has served on the investment committee since 2009.
Glenn Scolnik, HKW Chairman, commented on these moves. “Today we are beginning a process of expanding the leadership structure of the firm. All three have demonstrated very clear track records of success and have the ability and desire to be a key part of HKW's long term future.”
HKW CEO Jeff Wood added, “We believe putting these three individuals into leadership positions will strengthen HKW and better position the firm for the future. All who have worked with Ted, Mike and Luke understand they represent the culture and values of HKW and we are delighted that they will continue to expand their roles with HKW in these new responsibilities.”
Glenn Scolnik and Jeff Wood will continue in their positions as Chairman and CEO, respectively, with the firm, as will the other HKW Partners, Julianne Lis-Milam, Caroline Young and John Carsello.
Additionally, Jim Snyder will continue his leadership role with the firm and will be assuming the responsibilities of investor relations. Jim has been a partner and on the HKW Board since 1999 and serves on the investment committee. Jim’s extensive experience and knowledge of HKW will enhance HKW’s communications and interactions with investors.
