A groundbreaking ceremony is set for this afternoon for a new Ivy Tech Community College campus in Anderson. Work is slated to be complete in time for the 2015 fall semester. May 8, 2014

ANDERSON, Ind. – Ivy Tech Community College East Central region, along with the Anderson Campus Campaign chairs and committee members, is set to host the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Anderson campus, signifying the first step toward the construction of the facility.

Thursday, May 8, 2014

4:00 p.m.

Anderson, IN

The community has provided leadership by forming the Anderson Campus Campaign committee to raise the $4 million needed to fully fund the construction.

“We look forward to having the community join us for this monumental event in Anderson and Madison County,” says James Willey, Anderson campus president. “We have worked tirelessly for nearly five years to see this project come to fruition, and the ground breaking ceremony is the first step toward the future.”

The 85,000 square foot campus is slated to host classes in Fall 2015.
