Adina Cloud says conventions booked in January, March and April of next year and others scheduled through 2020 are a direct result of the new space. Bloomington-based Cook Group Inc., which is leading the development efforts and held a topping out ceremony today, believes up to a dozen conventions would be lost each year without the expansion. Cook Group Inc. Chief Architect George Ridgway says when complete, the project will have created around 200 construction jobs and will lead to 40 additional full-time employees.

FRENCH LICK, Ind. – Scheduled to open in January 2015; French Lick Resort's new state-of-the-art expansion will add over 58,000 square feet to the existing 109,000 square feet of event space offered at the four-diamond property. The new expansion, which connects to the Learning Center/Exhibit Complex, includes eight breakout rooms and a 22,000 sq. ft. ballroom with three sections, allowing multiple configurations.
