Oakland City artist Bob Zasadny has been selected for his work titled “Aerial Beauty.” Our partners at Eyewitness News in Evansville report the project needs more funding. The organizations launched a contest in 2011 to find the winning proposal.
Eyewitness News reports the $100,000 in funding still needed will go toward the sculpture, a “welcome” wall, and landscaping.
When complete, plans call for the piece to be 20 feet-long and 27 feet-tall.
