Greater Fort Wayne Inc. has named Patrick Dooley director of airport development. He most recently served as director of business development and key accounts for Travelex Currency Services Inc. North America. March 10, 2014

News Release

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Greater Fort Wayne Inc. announced today that Patrick Dooley will return as Director of Airport Development. In October of 2013, Dooley accepted a position with Travelex as Director of Business Development and Key Accounts, North America. After careful consideration, Dooley decided that he wanted to be back in Fort Wayne and worked with the Greater Fort Wayne Inc. to reinstate his position as it remained unfilled at the time. He will officially resume his duties on March 10.

Dooley will be stationed at both the Greater Fort Wayne Inc. and the Airport Authority's offices to best serve the airport and economic development needs of the community.

“Patrick Dooley will return with an excellent mix of airport and economic development knowledge and experience to this position,” added John Urbahns, Executive Vice President of Economic Development for Greater Fort Wayne Inc. “We are looking forward to having an employee that can hit the ground running and we welcome him back to our staff.”

Dooley's recent professional background included 10 years with the Indianapolis International Airport (IND), where he served as airport director, vice president of business development, director of marketing and director of retail. Prior to serving at IND, Dooley was director of economic development and special events for Indianapolis Downtown Inc. Dooley is also part of the 2012 Super Bowl Legacy Leadership Committee as co‐chair of economic development.
