INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Known for its authentic, fresh food and fun, eclectic atmosphere, Austin-based Tex-Mex restaurant Chuy's, plans to open its first Central Indiana location at Hamilton Town Center. To prepare for the local launch in April the restaurant is now hiring approximately 140 team members.
“At Chuy's we make our food from scratch all day every day from the best ingredients,” said Russell Burns, local Owner/Operator of Chuy's Noblesville. “We're looking for people who share our passion for fresh food and great service.”
Chuy’s is currently accepting applications for all full- and part-time positions, including servers, bartenders, hosts and bus employees. In addition, the restaurant is looking for experienced kitchen staff to prepare their homemade Tex-Mex fare and signature sauces, as well as tortilla “experts” to create Chuy's hand-rolled tortillas at the authentic comal located in the dining room. Keeping with tradition, the Hamilton Town Center location is designed using the company’s motto, “If you've seen one Chuy's, you've seen one Chuy's.” It will incorporate Indy flair, such as a “dog wall” featuring pictures of local canines, as well as Chuy's d?cor staples: sculpted metal palm trees, hubcaps on the ceiling, a shrine to Elvis Presley and the Fully-Loaded Nacho Car, an unlimited build-your-own nacho station with chips, salsa, queso and ground sirloin available weekdays from 4-7pm.
“Chuy's is known for our unique d?cor and family-friendly atmosphere,” Burns said. “We believe in allowing our staff to be themselves and in empowering them to ensure that every guest has the best Chuy’s experience possible.”
Interested applicants should apply in person at the Chuy's hiring office, 13976 Town Center Blvd., Suite 200 (between Kay Jewelers and Coldwater Creek at Hamilton Town Center) Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
