The executive director of St. Vincent Sports Performance says the annual NFL Scouting Combine, which continues through tomorrow in Indianapolis, has served as a catalyst for the business. Ralph Reiff says the program started with three athletes in 2003 and has grown to include 18. He says football prospects including 2013 Heisman Trophy Finalist Jordan Lynch and former Ball State University quarterback Keith Wenning have been working with St. Vincent Sports Performance since January to improve their abilities for major scouting events. During an interview on Inside INdiana Business Television, Reiff says the combine is a vital part of St. Vincent Sports Performance's strategy. The company recently created a position to specifically deal with the development of quarterbacks. Reiff says the “deliberate” focus on the position has paid off.

He says the business is “built around” the Combine, which has helped improve other offerings, including programs dealing with youth athletes.

Reiff believes if the combine were to move away from Indianapolis, the reputation built by the event would carry on.
