SOUTH BEND, Ind. – WorkOne is teaming with Mosaic, a nonprofit agency that provides direct-care services and advocacy for persons with intellectual disabilities, to hold a HIRING EVENT for Direct- Support Associates in Elkhart City and Saint Joseph County.

Where: WorkOne Saint Joseph County, 851 South Marietta Street, South Bend, 46601.
When: Tuesday, FEB. 18, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (applicants must apply online before attending the event; http://careerlink.com/employer/jobs/0356).
Details: Starting wage is $9.25 hourly. Full-time employees are eligible for free health insurance. Mosaic seeks quality direct-support staff interested in assisting people with community activities and goals. In addition, direct-support associates are asked to help with cooking, cleaning and personal care.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must be at least age 18, have earned a high school diploma or GED, have acquired a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
Job seekers should come to the event prepared to interview with a representative of the employer. In this light, job seekers should dress to make a favorable impression as well as prepare in advance what comments he or she intends to make to the hiring manager.
