News Release
CARMEL, INDIANA – FEBRUARY 5, 2014 – Telamon Corporation, a service-based organization that simplifies business in the telecom, energy management, industrial assembly, business process outsourcing and telehealth industries, is pleased to announce the launch of the Telamon Foundation.
The purpose of the Telamon Foundation is to act as Telamon’s representative and agent in the review and disbursement of charitable giving on behalf of the Corporation. The Telamon Foundation was also established to support the communities in which Telamon operates and in which its employees live.
“Telamon has historically self-funded many charitable organizations,” said Stephanie Fuhrmann, President of the Telamon Foundation Board. “In order to control the disbursements and monitor requests, we created the Foundation to strategically guide total Telamon charitable contributions.”
The Telamon Foundation will place special emphasis on non-profit organizations that specialize in arts and education where its employee base is best served. The Foundation will have a single funding round annually.
Applications can be found on Telamon’s website at www.telamon.com/about-us/telamon-foundation/. The pre-grant inquiry form must be returned before an organization files an application. This form helps Telamon determine if an organization is qualified to receive funding from the Foundation. Grant applications are due September 1, 2014. The Foundation’s first round of funding will be announced no later than December 15, 2014. Source: Telamon Corp.
