The South Bend Silver Hawks baseball team is planning a series of job fairs to staff the upcoming season. The first of four events is set for next week and will highlight approximately 200 openings in food service, ticket sales and promotions. January 22, 2014

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Your 2013 Eastern Division Champs, South Bend Silver Hawks, are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and customer service oriented team members to join the organization for the 2014 season. Positions are available in the areas of ticket takers/sellers, fan hosts, concessions, bartenders, parking lot attendants, on- field MC, promotional team, janitorial crew and team store associates.

“We are very excited about the upcoming season and as we approach Opening Day it is time to focus on our hiring process. Our organization is looking for people that want to “thrill and wow” our guests. It is our mission to give the fans of Michiana a world-class experience when they visit Four Winds Field and so much of that is dependent on having great employees. We are very invested in our job fairs and we want to attract the best job force in Michiana to be part of our organization.” stated Joe Hart, Team President.

In preparation for the upcoming season the Silver Hawks will be hosting four job fairs around the area. The first job fair will be held on Wednesday, January 29th from 6p.m. – 9p.m. at Granger Community Church in the Great Room. The other three job fairs will take place on Tuesday, February 4th from 6p.m. – 9p.m. at the Mishawaka High School in the cafeteria, Wednesdays, February 12th from 5p.m. – 8p.m. at the Gillespie Center at the Hilton Garden Inn in Parlor A, with the final job fair taking place at Four Winds Field in the Upper Deck on Tuesday, February 18th from 6p.m.-9p.m.

The South Bend Silver Hawks are a Class A minor league team affiliated with the Arizona Diamondbacks. The team is owned and operated by Swing-Batter-Swing, LLC whose sole shareholder is Andrew T. Berlin of Chicago, IL. Opening Day is April 8th, 2014.
