LOUISVILLE, KY. (January 13, 2014) – Nearly 9,000 cheerleaders and their families will take over the Indiana Convention Center January 17-19, 2014. JAMfest Cheer Super Nationals will return to Indianapolis for the 12th year in a row to host one of the largest all-star cheer competitions in the world. This event is devoted specifically to cheerleaders, and the weekend will boast over 550 athletic performances.

The competition is open to the public on Saturday and Sunday at the Indiana Convention Center, from 7:30 am – 11 pm. Cost of admission is $15.00 for one day or $25.00 for a two day pass.

This event will feature over 550 all-star, rec and school cheer teams from 22 states and two countries, attracting over 25,000 people to the city of Indianapolis.

Each team will compete once on Saturday and once on Sunday in their respective division for the honor to be a National Champion. Routines will be scored and critiqued by a panel of respected national judges in the cheer industry. All award ceremonies will take place on Sunday throughout the day. Grand Champions will also be awarded.

“Visit Indy is very proud to be the host city for JAMfest Cheer Super Nationals for 12 years running, an event that generates over $20 million in economic impact annually for Central Indiana,” said Chris Gahl, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Visit Indy.
