A Henry County company says this week's International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is an opportunity to go before a high-end audience. Production at Spiceland-based Draper Inc. ranges from projection screens to basketball backboards. Home Theater Sales Manager Bob Hadsell says the event also gives the company worldwide exposure. Draper is one of nearly one dozen Hoosier businesses exhibiting at the show. Hadsell says Draper has more than 500 employees, with most of them based in Spiceland. He says Indiana's business climate and Spiceland's location and “loyal and dedicated work force” have made the location ideal for growth.

Draper was founded in 1902 and primarily produced window shades for its first 60 years of operation.

Other Indiana companies exhibiting at CES include:

-Indianapolis-based Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association

-Greencastle-based Electronics Technicians Association, International

-Indianapolis-based Indesign LLC

-Indianapolis-based Klipsch Group Inc.

-Indianapolis-based PowerQube

-RCA in Indianapolis

-Fort Wayne-based Sekure Koncepts LLC

-Evansville-based Standzout

-Elkhart-based MITO Corp.

In addition, Indianapolis-based Emmis Communications Corp. (Nasdaq: EMMS) is unveiling FM tuner technology at the show. ExactTarget Chief Executive Officer Scott Dorsey is also taking part in a panel discussion at the event.
