Downtown Terre Haute Inc. has named Shelley Klingerman executive director. She has served in the role on an interim basis since last month. Klingerman is slated to officially take the helm in January and succeeds Ariane King.

She currently serves as president of Terre Haute-based Stiletto Agency LLC, a company focused on personal safety presentations and training for the public and private sectors.

Klingerman is also a former marketing and communications executive with Sony DADC.
