News Release

West Lafayette, Ind. — Leaders of higher education research programs can use a resource from a Purdue Research Park-based firm to seek grant resources for research programs in health care, physical and social sciences, arts and humanities, the environment, military applications, and other areas.

Schoolhouse Partners LLC has published the 36th edition of the Directory of Research Grants. It can be purchased directly from Schoolhouse Partners or through Barnes & Noble bookstores, EBSCO Information Services, Ingram Books or YBP Library Services. The information also is available on GrantSelect, Schoolhouse Partners' subscription-based online database.

Louis S. Schafer, editorial director, said leaders in research programs will find dozens of program types in the directory including:

* Basic research

* Demonstration grants

* Environmental programs

* Fellowships

* Materials/equipment acquisition

“There are more than 5,400 grant opportunities in the 36th edition of the Directory of Research Grants,” Schafer said. “Grant sponsors include U.S. and foreign foundations, corporations, family trusts, public charities, professional organizations, government agencies, and other organizations.”

Each record is listed in three indices: by geography, program type and subject. Records include grant title; description; requirements; award amount; application deadline; contact information, including phone, fax, email and Internet address; sponsor name and address; and samples of awarded grants.
