October 15, 2013 – Fort Wayne, Indiana, API Alliance, Incorporated announces significant business growth in 2013, which has led to expanding their current facility, and adding additional production and office resources.
Fort Wayne, Indiana based API Alliance, Inc.; a contract manufacturer of electronic controls, electro-mechanical assemblies and engineering services (electrical, circuit board design, mechanical and software) has experienced sustained growth over recent years, which has required them to expand their current facility along with adding production and office resources. “API’s growth is a combination of strategic business initiatives and economic factors,” said Kurt Webber, API’s Business Development Manager. Webber continued, “We have been focusing not only on our core production capabilities, but also on our engineering services – this has opened up many doors to companies that need turnkey solutions. The economic downturn forced many manufacturers to reduce staff and outsource their ideas to companies like API. We specialize in taking an idea from the design and prototype stages all the way to manufacturing a sub-assembly and/or finished product.” Working with API, allows companies to reduce costs, increase capacity, design/redesign and keep their production local, rather than sending it to other areas of the country or even oversees. API takes great pride in being an extension of our customer’s production floor; meeting peripheral needs while allowing their customers to focus on their own core competencies.
As API’s growth continues into 2014, they have made plans to increase their production staff by at least 30% and add additional office staff – including engineers and management personnel. It began as an electronic contract manufacturer, but has grown into a multi-faceted engineering design firm with prototype to full production capabilities. API is family owned and operated and has sister companies, Adaptek Systems – specializing in custom automated production equipment, Northern Apex – specializing in automated identification solutions and Automated Laser – specializing in laser automated production systems.
