Two companies could be bringing hundreds of jobs to Connersville. Our partners at Kicks 96 in Richmond report meetings are scheduled tonight that could help finalize Wayzata Real Estate LLC of Connersville's move into the former Visteon plant. Also, the Airport Board at Mettel Field is working on a deal with a company considering a 76 acre site in the north end of the Fayette County city. It would employ 100 and use 5,000 gallons of water a day. The jobs would be an average of $14 per hour.

The Wayzata plan will be examined tonight by the Connersville City Council and two other government bodies. The project invovles $3.5 million in bonds and potentially 300 jobs.

If the deal goes through, the company would be able to purchase the building for $1.
