(Nasdaq: EMMS) has announced changes with some of the company's top executive responsibilities. Jeff Smulyan, founder and longtime chief executive officer and president, will remain chairman of the board and CEO. Patrick Walsh has been promoted to president and chief operating officer.
Walsh has been with the company since 2006 and has served as executive vice president, chief financial officer and COO. He is also a member of the board of directors.
Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer Ryan Hornaday has been named executive vice president, CFO and treasurer. He started at Emmis in 1999.
Christopher Rickenbach is now VP of Finance and assistant treasurer.
The promotions kick in August 1.
