Some two million people visit Monroe County each year, generating $360 million in spending. An increase in overnight stays has led to four hotel projects. Meanwhile in nearby Orange County, visitors continue to be amazed by the West Baden Springs Hotel, along with a new boutique hotel, the former home of Larry Bird.
