Indiana’s life sciences initiative is launching a new competition designed to help solve two health issues facing Hoosiers: diabetes and opioid abuse. BioCrossroads says the DataX BioInnovation Challenge was created to "intersect life sciences and data research," giving innovators the opportunity to use data sets to identify and investigate hypotheses to improve the health issues. The winning team or teams could receive up to $50,000 in cash.
