Colts fans will soon have upgraded WiFi capabilities at Lucas Oil Stadium following the installation of a new system in the stadium. The new "WiFi 6" system is built for dense environments and is expected to boost capacity by 300 percent. The installation is the first of its kind in the sports industry and will be activated in two stages. The new system will be active on stadium levels 100 through 500 for Sunday's home opener against the Falcons.

A national association that represents computer science teachers is praising the state of Indiana for expanding access to computer science and further implementing its use in kindergarten through 12th-grade classes. Purdue University has announced a multi-million-dollar investment into its efforts to meet the growing demand for STEM graduates. The Purdue Research Foundation has received a $40 million grant from Indianapolis-based Lilly Endowment Inc. to go towards the creation of Purdue’s Engineering and Polytechnic Gateway Complex. The building project has an estimated $140 million price tag. The complex will include two buildings designed to be an interdisciplinary hub.

Evansville Regional Airport is marking the beginning of construction of a $6.5 million solar covered parking canopy. The airport says the parking installation will generate 1.3 megawatts of power and will supply one-half of the terminal's power. The new canopy will cover nearly 400 parking spaces and will be the largest of its kind in the U.S.
