The Alexander Hotel Extends Temporary Layoffs

In a notice to the state, the hotel cited “the unpredictable, ever-changing events surrounding COVID-19” as the reason for extending the layoffs.
The layoff extension affects more than 30 of the hotel’s employees.
Positions affected include room attendant, banquet captain, banquet server, chefs, and outlet servers, among others.
The company did not state whether the affected employees will receive any sort of assistance.
