River Ridge Lands New Developer for Spec Building
A St. Louis-based real estate developer has announced plans to build a 450,000-square-foot industrial speculative building at the River Ridge Commerce Center in Jeffersonville. US Capital Development signed a purchase agreement last week to acquire 37 acres from the River Ridge Development Authority.
US Capital says construction will start this fall. It expects the Class A industrial building to be ready for lease by late summer 2021.
“It’s a world-class business park with a great location, easy interstate access to key markets throughout the country and modern infrastructure to support numerous types of companies. We couldn’t be happier with the new location,” said Scott Sachtleben, managing principal for US Capital Development.
River Ridge Commerce Center currently is home to more than 60 companies employing more than 10,500 workers. The business and manufacturing park has 6,000 acres under development.
