Wabash Real Estate Firm Named ‘Business of the Year’
Grow Wabash County has named Wabash-based Halderman Real Estate as its 2020 Business of the Year. The organization says the firm, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, has grown to become one of the largest professional farm management and real estate companies in the country.
The firm was founded in 1930 as Halderman Farm Management Service Inc. It now employs more than 30 people who manage more than 650 farms across 19 states and two countries.
“The Halderman family not only run an amazing business that supports agriculture across the country, they are truly servant leaders in our community, donating their time, treasure, and talents to making our community a place all of us want to call home,” said Keith Gillenwater, chief executive officer of Grow Wabash County, said in a news release. “There is no more deserving business for this award than Halderman Real Estate and Farm Management.”
The firm’s president, Howard Halderman, calls the award a reflection of the firm’s team.
Halderman Real Estate will be honored with the award during Grow Wabash County’s annual dinner celebration in October.
