He previously served as vice president for academic affairs at Fontbonne University in St. Louis. Prior to that, Adams served as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Armstrong State University and dean of the College of Arts and Letters at Missouri State University.
He earned his doctorate in communications from the University of Kansas, his master’s degree in communications from Baylor University, and his bachelor’s degree from William Jewell College.
Adams will begin at Hanover June 22, 2020.
