Thacker has been with the health system for six years and had previously served as COO of Good Samaritan’s Physician Network.
Thacker says his main goals are to leverage new technology to offer better access to care while being aware of employee’s life-work balance, along with strengthening relationships with employers in the region.
“In my opinion, there has never been a more exciting time in health care than today,” said Thacker. “Emerging technologies will shape the way we provide care to the communities we serve. However, despite all the innovative technology, you still have to have compassionate, skilled professionals. Even after six years with the organization, I remain impressed and proud of our Good Samaritan team that comes to work every day to improve the health of Knox and surrounding counties.”
He holds a degree from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and a master’s from Regis University. He previously served as a pharmacy supervisor at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
