Aqua Indiana has named Kari Bennett president. She most recently served as executive director of customer experience at the Midcontinent Independent System Operator in Carmel.

Bennett also previously served as a commissioner for the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission and general counsel for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from the Miami University of Ohio and a juris doctorate from the University of Minnesota.

Bennett succeeds Thomas Bruns, who will retire at the end of the year after 15 years at the company.
