Members of the Wabash Heartland Innovation Network will gather Thursday to reflect on their efforts and engagement during the past year and to look ahead to the next 12 months. Chief Executive Officer Johnny Park will give his state of the region address to the membership during WHIN’s annual meeting at Ivy Tech Community College in Lafayette.

Over the last year, WHIN has awarded multiple grants to organizations focused on improving economic opportunities.

The members will also hear from 12 new proposal groups that are seeking funding. Each group will give a four-minute pitch.

WHIN, a 10-county, tech-focused initiative, is attempting to develop the region in north central Indiana as a global epicenter for digital agriculture and next-generation manufacturing.
