WEST LAFAYETTE - Ground has been broken for the $31.5 million West Lafayette Wellness and Aquatic Center at Cumberland Park. Plans for the 72,000-square-foot project feature a natatorium, three gymnasiums and community rooms

“We have a very active and engaged population,” stated West Lafayette Mayor John Dennis in a news release, “as such, we need to continue to provide the amenities and services that keep the best and the brightest minds in the world, in West Lafayette. I am thrilled about this facility and the services we will be able to provide through the Parks and Recreation Department. Thank you to the people of West Lafayette for turning this vision into reality.”

The West Lafayette Wellness and Aquatic Center is slated to open in late 2020.
