Indiana Republican Party Chairman Kyle Hupfer will serve as the Midwest representative on the Republican National Committee Budget Committee, after being unanimously elected earlier this week. Hupfer will also continue to serve as chairman of the Indiana Republican Party and treasurer of Eric Holcomb for Indiana campaign.

In his new role, Hupfer will manage the national Republican Party’s budget going into the 2020 election cycle, budget for the 2020 Republican National Convention and create budget plans for battleground races and the presidential election.

Hupfer was a member of former Governor Mitch Daniels’ cabinet, helping financially turn around the Department of Natural Resources as the agency’s director.

"I’m excited to take on this new challenge, and to continue to show how Hoosiers are leading the way on the national stage," said Hupfer in a news release.
