INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art has a new name. The museum will now operate as Indianapolis Contemporary and has a new logo, branding and website.

Part of the museum’s new approach is to expand its reach beyond its current sites at the Murphy Building, CityWay or the Emelie Building. Indianapolis Contemporary says it “is embracing a model that is multi-site, nimble, and responsive to the needs of artists rather than of a single gallery.”

I/C has also announced new partners it will collaborate with to produce and share content. Hoy Polloy and the National Performance Network will both work to further the I/C’s mission goals.
