EVANSVILLE - The University of Southern Indiana will Friday hold an inauguration ceremony for its new president. Ronald Rochon was appointed to the position a year ago and began his new role in July.

Rochon is the fourth president for USI. The inauguration ceremony is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Screaming Eagles Arena on the Evansville campus.

The ceremony is the culmination of a week of inauguration events, including an alumni-only reception, a student organizations state dinner, an interactive discussion with Rochon and Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke, and an address from former Secretary of State Gen. Colin Powell.
