A Hoosier bakery has been recognized as one of “America’s 7 Most Beautiful Gas Station Conversions” by Architectural Digest. 410 Bakery in New Albany launched in 2016 as a full retail bakery in what was previously the Economy Filling Station.

Originally built in 1929 as a full service gas station by Kentucky architects Sullivan & Cozart, the 410 Bakery is an Art Deco structure that is right near the Ohio River. It is a full retail bakery offering small batch artisan breads,  pastries, and a coffee bar.

The bakery joins other gas-stations-turned-eateries on the list from New Jersey, Florida, Mississippi and North Carolina, among others.
