Johnson Memorial CEO Resigns
The head of Johnson Memorial Health has stepped down. The health system’s board of trustees says Larry Heydon has resigned as president and chief executive officer, effective immediately.
A reason for Heydon’s departure was not given. In a statement provided to Inside INdiana Business, board chair Sandi Huddleston simply thanked Heydon for his years of service and wished him well in his future endeavors.
David Dunkle, vice president of medical affairs for Johnson Memorial, has been named interim CEO. A spokesperson for the health system says the board is working on a plan to begin the search for a permanent successor.
Our partners at the Daily Journal report Heydon served as president and CEO for more than a decade and previously served as vice president and chief financial officer for the health system.
