Carmel-based MJ Insurance has appointed Rebecca Sterchi employee benefits consultant. She has more than 20 years of experience in the human resources and employee benefits field. Sterchi most recently served as employee benefits advisor for Apex Benefits Group, where she was responsible for designing and executing employee benefits strategy and driving rapid client growth at the firm.

Sterchi obtained her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Michigan University. In her spare time, she enjoys serving as a board member for Best Buddies International, a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing global volunteer opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as serving as a committee member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana, a nonprofit dedicated to providing children facing adversity with strong and enduring mentors.
