CRAWFORDSVILLE - Crawfordsville's coworking space is now open. Considered the signature component of the city's 2015 Stellar Communities designation, Fusion 54 includes space for entrepreneurs, community organizations and a Wabash College auxiliary floor. It is owned and run by the city.

In an interview last year with Inside INdiana Business, Mayor Todd Barton called Fusion 54 "a huge step forward" for collaboration in Montgomery County. Organizations locating in the $2 million, 24,000-square-foot space include the Crawfordsville-Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, Crawfordsville Main Street, Montgomery County Leadership Academy and the Montgomery County Convention & Visitors Bureau.
