Alabama-based Regions Financial Corp. has named Erik Miner market executive for the Indianapolis region. Miner, who succeeds Leslie Carter-Prall, will continue to serve as commercial banking leader. Carter-Prall was recently named head of Regions Private Wealth Management.

Miner came to Regions in 2010 as commercial banking executive in Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. He previously worked for Fifth Third Bank for 16 years. Regions Chief Executive Officer John Turner says "Erik’s expertise, combined with the experience of our entire Indianapolis leadership team, will help Regions further strengthen its focus on this vibrant area. We are committed to the success of our communities and to consistently developing new ways to serve."

Regions also named Schiela Peña, local community relations officer in Indianapolis. She recently served in consumer banking and financial wellness positions.
