NTN Driveshaft, IU Health Partner on Anderson Clinic
ANDERSON - Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health is partnering with NTN Driveshaft on a new on-site clinic at the manufacturer's Anderson facility. Services available at the clinic include primary care, occupational medicine, health coaching and workplace ergonomics.
NTN Driveshaft broke ground on its $130 million Anderson operation in late-2015, after company officials said increased demand and maxed-out space at its massive Columbus location led them to look beyond Bartholomew County for growth. When plans were first unveiled, the company expected to eventually employ more than 400 in Madison County. Its headcount is currently at 225.
NTN Driveshaft Anderson Inc. Human Resources Manager Teresa Amburgey says "we are excited to partner with IU Health to provide our associates and their family members with a convenient and cost effective resource for quality health care. The IU Health staff launched the clinic seamlessly and has quickly become a valued and trusted resource to our associates."
IU Health, through its Business Solutions program, have a network of workplace clinics throughout the state. Its partnerships include municipalities, school corporations and the private sector. The healthcare provider says the on-site clinics improve employee wellness, minimize their downtime and absenteeism and lead to lower employer health costs.
