Progressive Grocer magazine has placed The Kroger Co.’s Susanne Davee among the “Top Women in Grocery” for 2018.  Every year the magazine identifies women who are leaders in the field. Davee serves as District 3 manager for the Central Division. The honor acknowledges her 32 years of service to Kroger. 

In her current role, she oversees operations at 23 Kroger stores in the Indianapolis area. Davee has also served as regional merchandiser for five Kroger divisions, store manager at College Mall in Bloomington and manager of the Kroger store in Franklin.

During her time in Bloomington, her store shattered many sales records and was always a leader in sales for Kroger’s Central Division. Now, as a district leader, Davee uses her expertise to help more stores improve sales and provide the best service to Kroger customers.

The “Top Women in Grocery” award is granted to women to recognize their efforts in the grocery industry. As Progressive Grocer writes, “From the store floor to c-suite, women are leading the charge to keep the industry fresh.” In this year’s class, Progressive Grocer honored 362 women serving in the grocery industry around the nation.
