South Bend Police Appoints Division Chief
South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Chief of Police Scott Ruszkowski have appointed Tim Lancaster support division chief for the city’s police department. He is a 21-year veteran and most recently served as afternoon patrol captain for the last two years. Lancaster has also served as a patrol officer, school resource officer, Special Victims Unit investigator and a patrol supervisor. As support division chief, he will oversee the Investigations, Logistics and Records Bureaus.
