Brian Shockney has been promoted to president of IU Health South Central Region. He has been serving on an interim basis since earlier this year. Shockney joined the hospital as COO in 2016, and prior to that served as COO of IU Health and president and CEO of Logansport Memorial Hospital.

IUSCR makes up 11-counties. Shockney holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Health Administration from Indiana University and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He serves on the Board of the Bloomington Economic Development Corporation and is a committee member for Monroe County Council on Substance Abuse and Diversion.
