Thomas P. Miller & Associates has named Amanda Straight senior project consultant for economic development. She brings experience in urban planning, market analysis, economic impact analysis and strategic planning. With a background in research, Straight focuses on the alignment between analysis, planning, and action in how communities work to build strategic visions unique to their existing strengths and assets.

She has held previous positions with the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, as well as the Bureau of Labor Statistics Unit at the Arizona Department of Administration. In her new role, Straight will be involved in economic development planning, research and analysis, and implementation activities to shape and support thriving, sustainable communities.
