ECC Horizon, an environmental consulting firm with a regional office in Indianapolis, has named Linda Hicks to the newly-created role of vice president of Midwest operations. She has 34 years of operations and technology leadership experience at Vertellus, where she most recently served as vice president of global technology. Hicks is a chemical engineer with significant expertise in environmental project design and execution.

She holds a BS degree in chemical engineering from Grove City College. Hicks is engaged in the community including a variety of leadership roles within Girls Inc. of Greater Indianapolis, TechPoint Foundation for Youth and Women in HiTech. She has received the “Mentor Me” Leading Light award from Women in HiTech and was the co-winner of Money Magazine’s Money Hero for the state of Indiana.
