AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) has recognized another Indiana location for its high-speed Internet infrastructure. The 132-acre Tindall Industrial Park in Shelbyville has been certified as AT&T Fiber Ready.

State Senator Jean Leising (R-42) says the designation helps economic development leaders send an important message to businesses. She calls it a "valuable new tool" that gives officials a competitive advantage when talking with companies potentially looking to locate there.

"You can’t overstate the importance of having a strong technology infrastructure in place, when it comes to growing our economy," said Shelby County Development Corporation Executive Director Brian Asher. “I appreciate that AT&T is helping us shine the spotlight on the availability of this high-speed communications service. It’s exciting for both Shelbyville and this incredible industrial park.”

Earlier this month the Lincoln Commerce Center in Rockport received the AT&T Fiber Ready certification.
