The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a $16.1 million contract to Lebanon-based IBC Materials and Technologies Inc. The contract calls for the production of components for a missile launcher system found on various military fighter planes.

IBC will supply more than 1,200 Launcher 12X structural rail sections used on the AIM-120 missile launcher. Work on the contract will be performed in Lebanon and is expected to be complete by October 2023.

The DOD says the contract involves foreign military sales. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia is the contracting activity.
