INDIANAPOLIS - BLEND Bar, founded in Indianapolis, has been named the world's Best Cigar Lounge by an international trade publication. The bourbon and cigar lounge has locations in Indianapolis, Pittsburgh and Nashville, Tennessee, and was the only U.S. finalist for the award from Cigar Journal.

BLEND calls the honor "the most highly-respected accolade in the trade." The award was announced at the annual Cigar Journal Awards Ceremony in Germany. Cigar Journal Editor-in-Chief Reinhold Widmayer says the Cigar Trophy Awards are the only industry honors decided by a public vote. He adds "for us consumers it is equally essential what we smoke as it is where we can enjoy a good cigar." BLEND beat out 4 other finalists.

BLEND President Corey Johnston says "we wish to thank the Cigar Journal for this international recognition and award. We are thrilled to be recognized and honored at such a prestigious event. We also want to thank all our customers who have embraced our concept and brand so passionately since inception four years ago. The BLEND concept is built around a complete sensory experience in an upscale environment for men and women with discerning tastes."

Indianapolis-based CKM Entertainment LLC owns and operated BLEND and is planning additional locations throughout the U.S., including The Woodlands, Texas.
