Indiana State University has launched its first-ever athletics-only fundraising campaign. Elevate - The Campaign For Sycamore Athletics, which is looking to raise $600,000, will focus on primary areas "targeted for implementation or improvement." They include a new Sports Performance and Nutrition Station, a Sycamore Fuel Initiative, Sycamore Football Offices and Players' Lounge improvements, new Sycamore Track & Field and Cross Country Office Interactive Display, new indoors surface at the athletics annex practice facility and upgrades to Memorial Stadium.

"This is a long-term commitment with numerous upgrades and improvements slated over the next several years. These enhancements will augment the progress made over the last decade," he says.

Sycamore Athletic Fund Director Jeremiah Turner says funds raised by the campaign will provide student-athletes will valuable resources and provide a recruiting and talent-building edge to ISU programs. "A new Sports Performance Center and Nutrition Station, upgraded football offices and players' lounge and an interactive cross-country and track and field display are crucial projects sure to put Sycamore Athletics on a trajectory for future success." The four projects mentioned by Turner make up the first phase of the campaign's priorities.
