Indiana State University has selected Caroline Mallory as dean of the College of Health and Human Services. Mallory is currently associate dean for research and graduate program coordinator for the Illinois State University Mennonite College of Nursing and will begin her new role in July.

Mallory will be the third dean of the college since its inception in 2007. ISU says, in addition to having 20 years of higher education teaching experience, Mallory has also spent more than 30 years as a registered nurse.

"Dr. Mallory made an excellent impression on those she interacted with during the campus interview days. We are excited to have her join us," said Susan Powers, chair of the search committee and associate vice president of academic affairs. "She demonstrated to the committee her strong commitment to students and inter-professional education. She’s excited to work with the range of programs at ISU."

Mallory has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and presentations and has received research funding from the National Institutes of Health and the Illinois Department of Public Health.
