Indianapolis-based TCC Software Solutions has announced the acquisition of Vertex Solutions Group and Triple Impact. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed, however TCC says it will increase the company's employee base to 250.

TCC says the acquisition will allow the company to enter the learning and development marketplace by embedding interactive learning technology into new and existing software applications. TCC Principal Partner Jim Pangallo says the acquisition will also allow the company to grow into new markets, including federal, agricultural and animal health.

"The purchase of our two companies by TCC will allow us to enhance the company’s offerings and greatly expand services, which will benefit our customers and employees," said Mikell Parsch, chief executive officer of VSG and 3I. "VSG and 3I both have large and loyal client bases with solid, innovative products and service offerings. We have been searching for the right strategic partner to expand our solutions and provide the necessary resources our companies have needed to fuel expansion. After a long search, it was clear to everyone that TCC was that company."

TCC says all three companies will benefit from shared infrastructure services, which will increase efficiency.

TCC Software Solutions is one of the nominees for the 2017 Mira Award for "Tech Company of the Year ($20M+)."
